Any runner could get a place in the 2024 Marathon’s Olympic race in Paris. This article explains how you could be one of the lucky winners.

The organiser of the 2024 French Olympics have setup a project called “Le Marathon pour tous” which translate as “Everyone’s Marathon”. In practice, it cannot be for everyone, even if the Paris Marathon usually accommodate north of 50,000 runners thanks to the capital’s very wide avenues, there will only be 20,024 participants for this edition and there are a lot more of us wanting to complete the mythic distance on such a special occasion. But contrary to most majors where runners are selected on time, the organisers have opted for a draw with a twist.

How does it work?

The idea is to reward true runners. Anyone can register for the scheme but to be in with a chance to win, you need to complete a challenge. There are about 200 entries to win with every challenge and about 3 challenges on the go at any one time.

All you need to do is:

  • Register online
  • Install the MPT Paris 2024 App
  • Link your connected watch (like Garmin account)

Where can I register?
